BuffaloRiver.com

February 13, 2008 11:53 by joey.nelson

So it finally went live today, it's been almost two years in the making working on this site for RFI(Rockfish Interactive) and finally it launched. This has always been one of my most favorite designs I've got to work on here. There are plenty of bells and whistles that make this site really cool.

I had been to the place several times before they asked us to build the site so when they did I knew how cool the place was and that they needed a site to reflect. The site uses flash in several areas to help the user see first hand what cabins and aminities they have,  there is an interactive trail map and you can send you friend an online postcard to help spread the word. In my opinion the site is well crafted and the end result was very pleaseing to the client.

So check out the site at http://www.buffaloriver.com/

and if you are in the Ozarks make sure you stop by this place and visit.

Cool Valentine's Day Gift Chooser

February 8, 2008 20:05 by joey.nelson

This Flash based web app is a fun tool to help make getting a gift for your significant other easy and something she or he would want. www.helpaguybuy.com

This was a fun project we here at RFI(Rockfish interactive) got to develop for Wal-Mart. The app is Flash based and the data is XML driven. The interfaces change with every holiday and the questions project a pretty precise profile of who your shopping for and what they want. So, check it out and give and receive something you will like this year. Share the word so you'll get something cool back. Also, for the ladies we developed www.helpachickpick.com which has some pretty cool gifts for guys

2007 - A Year in Review at RFI

December 22, 2007 21:50 by joey.nelson

Since joing Rockfish Interactive almost two years ago my time as the Senior Web Designer has been amazing. I've had the opportunity to work with fourtune 500 companies, design interfaces for web applications, develop with Flash actionscript and design company Blogs just to name a few responsibilities.  I have had the opportunity to be a part of a young developing company, that in my opinion has huge potential for the future of websites and web applications and multiplatform technology.  The people I've gotten to meet during these endevors into the web have been excellent to work with and the other agencies I've gotten to do work for such as Edelman and Malone have just made this past year fun and never a dull moment (even the Jackass Story). Never did I think during my move to Arkansas that such progressive technology could or did exist here. I hope '08 brings just as many new and exciting projects and clients to work with.

Below are sites that were completed during 2007 that I either designed or was a part of the design.
